Woolacombe holiday offer for Rally North Wales marshals
Historic competitor Rudi Lancaster offers rally marshals a half price holiday at his North Devon resort
Front running Fuchs MSA British Historic Rally Championship competitor Rudi Lancaster will, for a second year, offer all marshals at this year’s Rally North Wales a half price stay at his Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks in Devon.
Leading Ford Escort driver Lancaster has long been a supporter of rallying in the UK and has organising club chairman Guy Weaver alongside him in the co-driver’s seat. He has offered to support the army of dedicated volunteers with a generous discount on his complex which is nestled in the North Devon coastline.
This fantastic incentive will be facilitated by the use of a discount voucher code that will be given to any safety marshal, timing crews or officials when they sign on at the event. The code will allow them to book over the phone and they can even get an extra £10 off their stay by booking online.
WSSCC chairman and co-driver Guy Weaver is delighted at Lancaster’s offer.
“Rudi has been a competitor for many years and of course appreciates the dedication our volunteer marshals show to enable us to go rallying” he says. “Rally North Wales is delighted Rudi has supported the event in this way and hopefully it send a message to our ‘orange army’ that we really do thank them for all their hard work. We can’t enjoy the sport we all love without them.”
